Sorry about being sexist here, but I just played the worst basketball refereed game in my life!! We had 2 women refs and they totally were crap! We couldnt argue any calls, give a women a little power and they abuse the S***t out of it!!
Iām fed up, At least with guy refs they can take a argument about a call they made, but no with women refs its all about she right, all the way!!.
And whats the use of coming up to the team after the game!!! to talk about her refereeing , its not going to change the score board!.
This totally sucks, the one game we needed to win to get into the semi and she totally laid out a one sided refereed game. just because the other team was shorter you donāt give them a helping hand! For instance , i had the ball near the baseline and this dude from the other team basically pulled my arm down, he hit the ball and the ball went out, the ref was right in front of me, I tell her, kinda in a Angry way , āwheres the foulā!! she looks at me and says your getting the ball back arent u??,
yeah but wheres the foul!!! If you want to call a game so **** proffessional , why not call a foul on things like that. All the 50-50 calls went the other way.
And yeah , i forgot to say, during the game, when someone was shooting free throws, i walked up to her and i tell her look i am sorry if i seem rude before, but i do think you should of called a foul all polite and all, and she turned around and said i dont get payed enough to listen to that discusting behavour??? DO WE GET PAYED PLAYING BASKETBALL??? NOOO we pay a good amount of money for court fees which is paying for her wages!!!
Yeah without a doubt, but with the women refās you cant talk to them, you cant say that was a F*** up call. there heads would spin, but if its a guy ref, hes like nah mate, call was good, and we would get on with the game. In the heat of the game, you say things a different way, a simple call like the ball went off the other team and went out, and the refs call there ball. You can absolutely go crazy at stuff like that , sometimes you dont even mean it. but the guys let it slide, the women take it to heart, and feel they have been treated badly, when its not to them personally its to the ref she is working as.
I dont know??, I think that this ref was on a mission with the rest of the world, lol.
Younger girl refs are fine, it just that this older lady felt like she knew everything, and she wanted to ref the game so prefessional , but unfortunetly she refed it to my side that way.
She has probably been a round for a while and knows that some guys think girls have no right refing a āmans gameā and is sick of putting up with the crap that comes with it. She figured instead of hearing it she would just shut everyone up so she didnt have to take it.
yeah dude, i play street as well, I will always play street ball , Iāve watched the and1 mix taps on dvd as well, friend has it. Why i play competition, because it more intense, harder, and the feeling of winning, is awesome. I love competitive sports and i have always loved playing basketball. Its a shame that we get refs like this though,
ah well, iam over it now. If it was the semis or the finals i would of went āLocoā on her. She ruined a good run that we had going.
