Seems like M$ new ‘iPod Killer’, the Zune is not all that.
While Zune users will be able share music with friends, there’s a catch (isn’t there always). As Jim noted earlier, recipients of shared songs will only be able to listen to them three times or for three days, whichever comes first.
Seems the Zune does an on-the-fly DRM wrap of your tracks. What happens with tracks that are licenced under Creative Commons or other such licencing? EVERYTHING that you share gets wrapped with this 3 day DRM.
