Wow man nice design
It can be used as flairs for a phoenix
i cant get mine that pointy. if you would, i wouldnt mind seeing it…
Here’s the website…its pretty exacting, meaning that I didn’t get lost too much. So I was quite surprised after I rendered it that it looked pretty much like the original that was made. If you go through it post up your render and we’ll see how close ours looks.
no more spike balls pleeez!! nah just playing that is cool…looks exactly like the tut. Play with some textures and stuff and see what variations you can make

Yeh. I already saw that site… But then I make it I can’t get the spikes to come out to the same size… And It looks like a demented blob! =)
How con I make it all the same size?

When you extrude the patches you need to really zoom out so you can make the length of them very long. If you don’t zoom out really far you’ll end up with stubby looking points.
:stunned: i just stay in close! ahhhh! l0l, see this is what it looked like:
really low quality 8]
Good Job man…that’s really close. My goal is to eventually tackle this one -
