Anyone hear about....?

Anyone here about the teen who stood over an overpass with a giant chunk of ice?

He was waiting for a car to pass, and when one did he threw the chunk of ice down at the car, it went through the windshield and killed the passenger.

The passenger was a mother, whos husband was driving and whos 3 kids were sitting in the back seat.

The teen was caught after he was caught bragging to all his friends at school today about the incident.

It makes me sick to hear stuff like this. There was no need for him to be doing that, and at that cost a life has been taken and a family has been traumatized. He was 15, he should have known better, it was not like he was 7 or something. He was a 15 year old who knew exactly what he was doing and hurled that ice at the car not caring about it. People like that make me sick, seriously.

Luckily he is being charged as an adult and is facing homicide and other charges.

Anyone else have thoughts on this?

i havent heared about this yet, he was very ignorant to do such a thing.

:-\

Yeah, it took me a while to find a good news post on the internet about it, it is all over the news stations here now.

It happened in Philadelphia, PA, where I live. And people wonder why I hate it here so much. It is filled with such cold heartless people.

I can’t imagine killing someone. It’s so horrible. This kid is a moron. He should get a long time in prision to think about what he did.

the world is ****ed …and thats all i gotta say about that

Lost I heard about a similar story which involved a teen dropping a large rock from a freeway overpass and it crushed a child’s skull.

It is just unbelievable that there are people who could carry out these kind of senseless acts…:frowning:

oh my god, that is just plain wrong. there are some sick, sick, people out there breathing the air they so don’t need.

When the original story came on the news they were saying a kid did it, a young kid. Which I can understand how a little kid might not understand the consequences of his actions, unexcusable for many reasons, but makes sense.

But then I found out it was a 15 year old who hurled a 20lb chunk of ice at a car from an overpass, now that is definitely on purpose and he knew what he was doing. The first article states that he did it to another car but merely dented it and no one was injured. I guess he thought he could get away with it again.

the same thing happemned a while back in florida
cept it was a rock
no ice down here
the kid was like 15-17 so he was tried as an adult and got like 20years or somethin
i cant remember

Yeah it does, but it is really the city of hate.

well isn’t that a shame? i heardest from upon high that it may be worse a city than NY is.

Maybe worse with violence possibly, but NY definitely has a higher theft rate IMO.

wel miam could definetly give NY a run for its money…
all the immigrants their(well not all) are less than honest

up high thor? as in god up high??

why did you chg avatar…i like ur old one…especially since it made Phils heart stop…HAH …i feel mean today, feel like stealing candy from a baby…i’m sick just sick sory phil

i’ll believe the higher theft rate. i was just there recently and it’s a jungle of people. i mean seriously, if NY were the amazon, all its leaves and creatures would be the people. sidewalks are crowded everywhere. cars are jammed at each road. stores are filled with people, giving opportunities to steal and such. but hey, NY is a great place.

Mak: well i changed it cause i didn’t want people getting the wrong impression that i’m a beautiful young lady, which of course i am not (phil stop dreaming). plus, today i felt i needed change, so i changed my title and avatar. footer: soon, maybe.

which anime is avy from?

EVERYONE STOP POSTING SO FAST i CAn HARDLY KEEP UP!!

Poor Mak, your spamming skills are getting a bit rusty. :stuck_out_tongue:

my avy isn’t from any anime actually, it’s just a random design avatar.

Wow so Philadelphia has the higher theft and violence rate… just peachy.

My girlfriend caught a 7 year old and an 11 year old stealing from the store she works in. They were communicating over walkie talkies and keeping an eye out for eachother. They caught the 7 year old and the 11 year old got away, but they were still just talking over the walkie talkies like nothing happened.

The store owner was forced by law to release the 7 year old as he was a minor.
