First let me thank all of you who have donated the time to create the tutorials. This is the first site I have ever built using flash and I couldn’t have done it without you nice people.
I only have one section done. I’ve already spent too much time on this today so the other sections will have to wait.
Please give the site a look and let me know if you have any ideas, feedback, problems… etc.
Yay, even more nice images :thumb: I like the effect when the page opens. The text has become way better ! You could work on the transitions a bit more
I really like it! One thing you do need to add: an option to turn off the music (nice as it is :)). I assume there will be different pictures in each of the sections? I like your snow effect by the way, it’s so much more subtle than some other sites.
EDIT: the backgrounds could do with being a slightly higher res
Very nice EthanM, I like the way you used the fading in for your backgrounds and also like your loaders, and you also have nice scroller bar for your site. keep up the good work.

I’ll tell you and only you a secret… if you click “ambient” it turns the sound off.
I would use higher res images, but for now these are the free versions of the images. I could export at a higher res, but I still think that the files will be a little fuzzy.

ah, well… it might be worth adding a button, 'cause that wasn’t obvious (obviously ;))
as for the pictures… it’s actually only the first one that definitely needs improving, I can’t really notice any problems with the snow guy and the trees, but the field is pretty obviously low quality
The sound should only be mutable by those that can find the mute button.
Ps. I redid the onpenin image. I think because I stretched it in flash it made it a little more blurry. I also exported at 100% jpeg on this one. So those of you on dial-up blame AC for the file size going from 4ok to 140k.

I reckon you should add the button… it might just involve people closing the window if they don’t like the (admittedly lovely and calming) music :sure:
I like it, looks nice, especially for your first site. It has a great artsty feel to it without being corny. I like the whole snow aspect of the site as well. Nice job :thumb:
Hey your site looks even better now there is nothing wrong with everything fits, but if you could put a burder around the backround make it so that it pops up alittle like the first fram that would be awsome but that is only a segestion. Very Nice work.:A+:
