Critics Please - New Logo

You are actually right. It kinda looks like a dating service.

I am going to make some changes to the font also.

It looks like a dating service, and the e is a bit dodgy, but it’s still better than that ****ing box

Lol, yea. Well i am making changes and will post back soon.

Did some one hack Andy92’s account??

No-one has hacked my account.

Ok,

here is a revision. I thourght that this font worked well with the o, because the ed and the a all are circular and work with the o.

Hmm, (mt) much? I like this font face better, but, I do not understand the heart. From visiting kedoa.com, the logo’s for a money making site, not a dating service :-/

You need something less happy and smushy, more greedy and envy-ridden.

edit:/ Actually, I have no idea wtf your site is about. It doesn’t seem to have a focus. Your title says something about a make-money-online blog, yet once it loads, it’s about all kinds of random crap, and the goal just seems to be to make money (lame).

While I think your use of gradients has improved some, and the heart in the circle at the bottom looks nice, I think you might want to try to move away from this whole “Arial Rounded with tons of parentheses”-look. You might want to experiment with other typefaces such as Helvetica. Try using more iconography as well as experimenting with more simple, but varied, color schemes. Try some solids, maybe even some patterns. Don’t try to stick with this focused style of uber-rounded corners and gradients. Look at some popular “Web 2.0” sites such as Flickr, Digg, or even Google apps. Flickr has no rounded corners, but they use a variety of colors, same as Digg and Google. They use rounded corners tastefully as well as blending together a few colors to create a simple, bold and memorable interface. Sorry for rambling, but the point I’m trying to get across is experiment some! Don’t just stick with one style. In the user interface for a newspaper’s article management system I have gone through 3 different iterations, each one with a completely different style. After taking a couple of tries and experimenting with some different styles I finally hit on what I wanted and stayed with it. And I’ve gotten some good results so far, with the people using it very happy with the consistency and appearance of the entire UI.

so what does the heart have to do with the concept again?

and I don’t like the “e” the leg of the e doesn’t come around to make a full circle like the other letters, and yes your kerning still needs to be improved the e kisses the d and the other letters are respecting each others personal space

The heart has to do with it because it is a design resource place.

Also i am launching a web gallery on there soon.

Yeah i don’t see the correlation between the heart and “design resource place” either.

still don’t get it

“The heart has to do with it because it is a design resource place.”

Most absurd statement ever
