There’s a car forum I am a member of [SIZE=“1”][COLOR=“Silver”](won’t mention name because I know I’ll get jumped for spam) [/COLOR][/SIZE] that has exactly what your talking about. Under their “Lounge” (our Random), they have a sub-section called “Anything Goes” and the only sticky in that section is a disclaimer that basically states in a business-y formal way, anything is allowed. It’s not a bad idea, but it can get a little out of hand.
+1 too much police. Bring back Ordered and whatnot. If people get offended, they can leave.

Hey guys, i feel like I need to “get one more in” and clear some things up. 
First, this isn’t a question about over-moderation, or under-moderation, (but in a sense, those sort of tie in)
Or whether we need a place to randomly post whatever we want, because we already have a place to do that, but you have to be a big kid about it, which is fine.
My beef is with the overall attitude, and actions a certain group of people take, which make the forum feel less friendly, and condescending, not towards me, but towards the entire Kirupa user-base as a whole, and that is not what I want to be a part of. And if you ask me, that is the complete antithesis of what their job is all about. Like i said, watching people tip-toe around for fear of free-speach-backlash is not what I’m about, and to avoid all the politics and garbage, I’ve done what i’ve done. shrug

I thought that it was pretty lenient around here, I guess I just don’t see these threads that have been closed prematurely or what not. I bring out my pimp hand in the Timmytots threads cause I already know where they’ll go :lol: history tells me so :P. Outside of that I mean I only really see threads that get perverse, flamebaity and osx vs windows types of thingies closed.
OUTSIDE OF ALL THAT, I just think Jamie is a big cry baby and needs some TLC.
