I’ve started working yesterday. I’m doing an internship in a bank in Paris, near La Madeleine, and I’m a bit desperate :hangover: I have a lot of work already, I have to go to bed early, I can’t see my friends so much, I can’t see my girlfriend so much… We can’t I stay a student forever?
The good thing is, my cash flow is going up. :beam:
Try working 40 hours a week at one job… Going home to 2-3 clients every week and then try and have some one on one time with your significant other and get sleep…
aww man that sucks Pom, things isn’t the same without the regulars here…
Well I’m graduating this March and going on with my education at another school in April so I will be gone too. Hopefully when I come back, all the regulars like Pom will be here. =)
Congrats on your job Pom =) Glad to hear you are done with your college education. I guess there is a world beyond Flash! Maybe it is that strange celestial object called “life” that I’ve heard all the cool people talk about!
I guess I can consider my job to be pretty good when you think what else I could be doing… Since no-one else here knows much about what I do, I can lurk (love that word) around on Kirupa for most of the day, and call it research. I can also play around with Flash and tell them that I’m learning new things. Mwa ha ha!
By the way and completely off topic, I like the Spiderman foot, Putch.
yah man - real life sucks sometimes. I just got a job in November of last year and it really does take away from your other “loves” but you are right - the cash flow does go up
I am kind of lucky because I get to work in flash and dreamweaver and photoshop all day but still - it’s not as fun there as it was at home doing what i wanted
I’m in the same boat as Kit. no one knows what i should be doing so they think i’m working while i’m here. I installed flash at work and nobisy even noticed. i work in it all of the tiem and ppl don’t know what teh hell i’m doing. But the don’t want to look stupid so they don’t question me.
