hey kirupa, if you´re really needing new mods, i know some ppl that might be interested in this job.
follow these steps and you´ll become a mod in no time
lib´s six step program for the mod wannabe:
- You have to be a good guy/gal all around
- You have to be extremely helpful around the forums
- Being a regular helps, because that way we can be assured that there will be a mod around most of the time.
- You have to have something to bring to the table that can be useful to the members on the forum looking for help or just the forum in general.
- To actually get in, all mods have to vote you in. The time this vote comes around is not determined by a member. The mods and Kirupa keep a look out and a sharp eye on members of the forum who help out. The next time it happens when this forum needs a mod (usually decided by Kirupa or group decision), the mods team up and figure out who should be picked and why.
- Even though what Rev said was a bit cold, its true. Asking to be a mod, or hinting around that you want to be one is usually (although not always) an indication that you want to be mod just for the title and the “power” (believe me, we don’t have much power, just enough to keep the peace). We choose our mods carefully and wisely.
now why werent these guys registered?
I dunno. probably had something to do with turtles and their soon to be… extinctness.
