I cannot argue with conspiracy theories and will stop now. I have tried to talk sense with people in the past that went the conspiracy route and it is a waist of breath for me. It is like trying to negotiate with terrorist…
Hey people are entitled to their own beliefs, you cannot claim to be right and them to be wrong.
No religion is perfect. If it were, everybody would be following it. Also, if Islam was perfect, I strongly doubt there would be a need for a thread that asks whether “Terorrism is Justified in Muslim Law?” nor would so many random terrorist acts around the world somehow involve islamists (fake or not) claiming to do God’s will

That sounds good and fine, but lets take out terrorist and put in serial killer. They usually had a bad childhood which led them down that path. Is it their fault they killed people, or their parents, or the government for not stoping both? Again, personal responsabiltiy (wow that fits everywhere in life huh). I think the blame stops with the murder in all cases.

Are you going to go buy a gun, walk down the street and take on 100,000 troops, 1000’s of tanks, 1000’s of jets…

Unorganized people have taken on and beaten large organized militaries throughout history. The unorganized colonies in America beat off the largest, strongest, best trained, highest tech military in the world at the time. Not just once but twice. They didn’t go to Britian and blow up women and children to stop the military. They used geurilla warfare to do it. Thank God they did to or else I would be here speeking English to you all today…oh wait…
My point with serial killers is that we don’t blame what happend to make them have no regaurd for human life, we realize you cannot negotiate with them and either kill them or lock them up for life to save society from them. I think it was a wonderful analogy…
The difference is that America does not target innocent people. The US military is fighting a war to kill militants. With that, sometime innocent people are killed during it.
Ask your teacher who he/she would rather have trying to kill an enemy next door to him/her? The terrorist that will put a car bomb in front of the house and take out much of the block? Or the US that will stick a precison guided missle in the window of the house next door taking out only that house?

your taking it all wrong. i am a muslim myself and i think my religion is perfect. but you gotta know that its was our environment around us that forced us to adapt it. if you look from a different perspective, you can be a christian and tell that the religion is perferct. or you can look at buddhism and tell that its perfect. who you believe and what you believe is only your opinion. others might not think that way
not possible. They aren’t civilian targets, at worse, they’re merely collateral damage. The US IraqiComCenter is not crazy enough to say they actually targeted civilians. They targeted fighters, but there was collateral damage… This is so useful! Darn, we screwed up!! Collateral Damage!!

Target in a civillian area… Drop a bomb on it and hope the collateral damage isn’t to bad.

Send in ground troops, at the cost of US lives…
It’s just easier and quicker for the US to kill civillians…
If that were the case, we would just carpet bomb places like Falujah and Najaf. Instead we risk soldiers lives to get just the militants.

And I am sure when a US team finds a militants nest they call in for a air strike when ever they can.

Sure they call for an air strike, but you bet that every attempt is made to not hurt civillians. You see that is is the difference that people like you are missing. The US does what it can to ensure that civillians are hurt (even though we all know they sometimes are) and terrorists target directly the civillians. Is that not clear?
