i keep running into this weird split where a little ambiguity in ui feels charming, and then the second i’m trying to do something specific it turns into friction. some products feel better because they leave room for discovery, but others seem to hide basic actions behind vibes.
maybe i’m just impatient, but i’m starting to think clarity ages better than cleverness. where do you all draw the line between “playful” and “annoying”?
