OK if you look at my site here the preloader will not come up until the last second which means the movie sits blank for like 10 seconds. I have no idea why. here is a copy of the preloader that i put in my site maybe someone can help me out please.
try placing your preloader on first scene of your movie…
the preloader is on the first scene, but not buy it’s self. So I did that. still no good. it seems as though the movie is loading before the preloader does. if you look at the site right before the movie opens up the preloader will show up. its like the preloader in working but not being shown. I’m using a preloader component so there is no AS added. I don’t know but its killing me.
here take a look at the site.
here
could it have something to do with the way it is published
I downloaded the file and used a huge file for content for scene 2 {frame (3)} and when I tested it, the preloader worked fine. Try embedding the movie in a full web page, otherwise the code itself looks great.
Make sure the preloader is on the first “frame” of the movie - by itself…

i mean you have to place or embed your preloader before anything else… say first frame… or if you have several scenes place it at the very first(order)…
your preloader just work fine… so i guess that’s the problem…
your using a component, before i gave you a link about export to the first frame issue with components, did you check it?
the preloader attachment above is not a component?
:: the one on your site is a component though
ya it is, I think I fiqured it out, the bg music on the site was checked as export to first frame, thats why it would take so long for the preloader to show up
