i didn’t like this site the 1st time you put it up.
the colors don’t go well together.
the fonts don’t match the subject matter (or even your client’s logo)
the frame rate of your flash is WAY too slow
you need a skip intro button in the beginning
those graphics that rotate in the background of your content area seem to look pretty cool, why don’t you use some of those to make the site? cuz right now your design doesn’t say “clothing for ex convicts” to me.
of topic: you should tell your client that if they really want to promote people moving upward and onward with thier lives they should pick a company name that doesn’t perpetuate the fact that they ARE exconvicts. instead of explointing the fact that thier potential customers are excons…
Did you read the intro? It talks about change not being an exconvict. the layout is what the customer wanted.
i aggree with ham on this. the design and usability are very poor and i think that the name xconvict is a bad name because when you walk around the streets wearing “xkonvict” on ur shirt, people will look at you weird. if their really trying for change, then they would buy polo shirts and khaki’s and go golfing.
no, i was too busy looking for a skip intro button. then when i realized there wasn’t one, i looked at something else until the intro was done. then when none of the nav options worked, i closed the site.
