This is my first time posting one of my sites up here for c&c…so i hope you all enjoy it.
Just a note: the client wanted the Black & White color combo…so there wasn’t much i could really do about that. Hopefully the colors did well.

It looks pretty good.

A couple of things though. You absolutely have to add some creepy sounds. lol
Also, the menu text is a little hard to read.

Other than that I’d say that if you added some pictures you’d have a cool site.

What is the site about? Is a poetry site or what?

CanadianGuy: What types of pictures would you suggest? There is a photo gallery with 30 or so photos already in there…Or are you talking about adding pictures to the mainpage, in addition to what is there right now?
Dj: It’s a site for an acoustic, musical artist in Florida. The navigation is somewhat confusing, but that’s what she wanted; i tried to tell her otherwise, but she just wouldn’t have it :sigh: So, there is an mp3 player as well as the lyrics to her songs.

O wow! I didn’t see the photo gallery. Maybe consider making your navigation a little clearer. I like to see what I’m getting into before I click and you wouldn’t want users to miss out on the neat stuff you have there.

also, those are some pretty good pictures. I mean the girl is cute and intriguing. She looks like a pretty deep person…very mysterious or something. Very interesting anyways.

yea i agree with you. I think the navigation is a little too dark with the brushstroke…i’ll have to lighten that up a little. And yes, she’s quite the deep person; which is why she wanted “sayings” for navigation buttons, instead of “news”, “photos”, etc.

very artistic but fonts are not much readable above the dark bg…

For me the black and white works well - you’ve done some strong original things in the site and I like it; good work :thumb:

tanvi: ya i realize the font is a little hard to read…but she wanted a “handwriting” type of font. Do you suggest any site that has handwriting fonts? or Any specific handwriting font that you know of off the top of yourhead? Thanks :slight_smile:
