You dont know nothing and you get pretty bored pretty fast…just learning actionscript right now…so confusing.
yah all the basic -n- stuff is really kewl right away and you have a good time wit fading stuff…animating etc…
then you hit AS and it allllllll goes downhill :*-[
That’s the wya with almost all programming languages…
When you start off… it’s kind-a dull and boring… But if you stick with it… You can produce amazing works of art…
Peace Out
I say just stick with it, nothing comes over night.
I’m new to flash, and I don’t consider myself being very good at it. However programming is not anything new to me and since my animation skills are pathetic the only way I get anything done is by programming it.
So far I have created two (completed) flashes:
http://nikke.letm.com/~nikke/flash/peli.html and http://nikke.letm.com/~nikke/flash/tiyaro.php (90% complete).
These two are basically completely scripted, so I think it’s definatively worth the effort of learning.
Besides those two I created a menu http://nikke.letm.com/~nikke/flash/menutest.html which is also all actionscript, and completely dynamic, to be used in my upcoming portfolio. Stay tuned for it
So just stick with it, check out tutorials and then implement and improve them. Trial and error is imho the best way to learn.
hmmmm thanks and your right when i hit A/S BAMMMM hard stuff their and thanks for keeping with the flash
