There is a goto the top button at the bottom of the page :bu:
You need to put giant bevels on all your header texts. You should also make 3 pixel borders on all of your tables. Lol j/k.
I like the idea of a layout overhaul eventually.
Possibly add a vbulletin login on the main site?
I think editorials/articles would be great. They wouldn’t be tutorials, but informative information on different topics.
We definitely need a kirupa wallpapers section, sort of like the wallpapers section at www.thefwa.com. That would be a great addition.
 That so reminds me of Arrested Development when Oscar got caught and put in jail the second time, the guard said “And I’ll make sure there is no website/blog this time” - Oscar goes “…maybe I’ll do a podcast”:lol:
Pc and Mac harware updates using XML or something
It would be nice to have one after the last post instead of the very bottom of the page (don’t know if this is possible). That way if a thread only has half the number of replies needed to fill a page you aren’t stuck in the middle scrolling all the way up or down, you just click the button at the bottom of the last post.
Do what?!?! :puzzle: :h:
Nooooo way man, if that’d happen I just might hurt myself.
I don’t have much advice for structurally and what not, but I can help DIV it up and redesign it :thumb2:
WTF? Explain what you mean?
Man i havent used that in a while
We already have that… for me it’s called “home” right under f14 on my keyboard
Don’t work for me
Go to the bottom. There’s a some text that says “Top” - click it
I beat you too it xxviii. Look above :kommie:
There is no F14 for me mine only goes to F12, but i found the button, Nice tip :p:
I usually use the scroll wheel when I’m crusing threads so the home button doesn’t work for me. Plus, if I have clicked in a thread for any reason then pressing home only goes to the beginning of the line where I clicked. So it’s not really a universal effect.
Interesting… it’s always worked for me on both my Mac and PC. Although when I do a quick reply cause of the innerHTML it does disable my Home button afterwards… which that’s kinda strange. But that’s about it.
Wow… never been called that before… thanks!
But seriously, I’d be happy to help as much as I can (which over the summer, is likely a ton).
I am not a big fan of gradients, but if there are any, they would be very subtle and localized only to the header area.
The small icons won’t be going anywhere. If anything, those are part of the recently made changes that will be around for a few years.
(-:
For short term - I would like to see the site in 100%, bcoz it will make more content viewable at a time.
For long term - CSS site, bcoz right now the page taketime to load.

i haven’t read through the previous 4 pages, but here’s my take…
the homepage doesn’t have anything that tells me where to start looking. the only thing that comes close is the flash featured header, but that looks more like a site header, so i don’t even bother to look at it. so i would make the latest tutorial/article/announcement more pronounced and featured.
normally i’d complain about the unnecessary use of flash (like in the header), but given the nature of the site i don’t really consider it inappropriate.
in general, i think the homepage has a very static feel, which is why i never visit it.
That’s a good point. This site is about Flash, so some Flash isn’t necessarily evil. I do think it should be used in more impressive ways, though (e.g. some neat animation of dynamic data, or something… like an integrated search in the main header).
