Hello,
Excuse my lack of posting, the last few months have been wrought with turbulent housing issues.
It’s been a while since I’ve done any Flash websites, most of my recent work has been graphic art.
However, I have been asked to develop a Flash site, from pages that have already been sketched out in Illustrator.
So they already have a logo, and the general look, I have to develop and program their vision of the site.
I’ll tell you what’s involved, and if you’d be so kind, advise on what you would charge, as I have been out of the loop for so long, I really don’t know.
It’s a DJ/music production website, they want a Flash/XML structure, with your usual homepage/news/productions/dates/gallery etc. So they need XML for the text (dates, news, and anything else), images, and they also want an MP3 player, that shall also be XML driven. And a newsletter.
It’s a decent amount of work, but obviously, because they have the design and look sketched out, I only have to recreate that in Flash, I won’t have to present them with various drafts pertaining to the aesthetics of the site.
What do you think?
Cheers,
Joe
