...Which Flash?

Hey, I am going to get flash, but which flash do you recommend? Flash 5 or Flash MX?

Well I have no idea about Flash! Never used it :stuck_out_tongue:

One might be easier to learn on, one might be cheaper. I don’t know! So flap off! :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve used Flash 4, 5 and MX, but I can’t say which one is the best,
cuz MX has some new features, but some ppl say that it is worse
than 5. I think that more and more ppl will use MX, so I guess you
should buy MX (or just wait for kinda XX or MM version =) )

well, actually i started with flash mx :wink:

but you have to believe me… if i had flash 5 i would commit suicide =) :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah FLASH MX is that one you should use

I think flash 5 was easier to learn, and i was very intimidated to upgrade to mx due to the different panel layout and stuff. But within two weeks or so i was very comfortable using it, and pretty satisfied with the new features. Plus MX’s actionscript has many new features. I wouldn’t get Flash 5 if i could get MX :slight_smile:

MX can also save to and open Flash 5 formatted files… MX is the way to go.
