Here is the email I sent the client. These are her color combination choices, not mine.

[font=Arial][size=2]Here is my idea with the first one. The box that holds the content will re-size per section and per image with a bounce spring effect. The menu on the left will stay the same size unless it is showing a gallery. Then it will grow in height to accommodate the little squares that will be the thumbs. It will always be attached to the main box top left. The whole box will be centered in the window.[/size][/font]

[font=Arial][size=2]Instead of having boxes that hold the content, why not think out side the box. [/size][/font]
[font=Arial][size=2]The entire back ground will be your art. The only drawback to this is the images have to be reasonably close to a monitor size and shape. in other words, wider than taller. To keep your image in perspective I had to code it so that it will crop the top/bottom, or left/right side. So you will notice that on the image I used, a little bit of the top and bottom is missing. This is becuase the image is taller than it is wider. Now the missing part is there, and you can tell it’s all there by resizing the window and make it taller than wider. But there is really no way around this because different monitors will be different sizes. If I just made the image the size of the window, it would look very distorted and skewed. [/size][/font]
[font=Arial][size=2]The menu that slides out will have all the thumbs. (it will slide back in too, just hadn’t coded that part yet ) The different sections will be just a blue box that fades/moves in that has the text in it, but your art will always be in the background. [/size][/font]
[font=Arial][size=2]I think this is a cool concept, and if you don’t mind a little bit of the top/bottom or left/right being cut off, then I think I could pull this off. [/size][/font]
