Hi

The logo will be used primarily on the web, in a flash site, and on a business card. It’s a personalised representation for an individual rather than his companies/business interests.

Please tell me what you think (good/bad/improvements/direction) and in particular what impressions you get of the person behind the logo.

No drop shadows on a logo. Ever.

I like the initials (nos. 1 , 2, 3, 4) better than the one with the crown, but the type is way too close to the illustration. If that is going to be on a business card, I suspect it will be difficult to read scaled down.

The bottom ones, with the crown, are a little hard to read. You have dark text (yas), then very light blue/grey (ee), then more dark (n). The “Yas” and “Theba” underneath are the only things my eye is drawn towards due to the extreme contrast (nos. 5, 6, 7).

Why not just have the name in type with a ® its distinctive enough

Why not? Doesn’t Google do it?

Are you seriously using Google as a good logo example?

I would definitely go with the yt ones as your name isn’t really a word so its more confusing in the bottom logos.

Hmm… 1-4 could work.
