I stated my opinion on it, that was all I am going to say on this matter. I will not be a part of a flame war. Well, depends, but I mostly likely won’t :bad: :evil:
I really dont see why people fight over religion. Im with lost, im not going to get into the fire,(hence why i stayed out of it)…
But i See no point in saying that one person is right and all Others in the world are wrong. It all comes down to acceptance (one thing i have always believed and is peacefull)…
I think most of us have to accept that there are many religions, and though someone may practice something different than others, still should accept that person as a human and forget all that nonsense that makes people angry.

I beleive in one thing only and that is the power of belief. If believing in hell and heaven or a devil and a god is believed in by enough people in the world that is just what it will create. So I have decided to believe in love. Sounds corny but it works for me. Not just love for our significant other but having a deep appreciation for life and others. That type of thing.
This following except sums the bible up totally for me. The above explains what I beleive in Donno. As for believing in jesus as being God. Erm he stated that he was son of man how many times? Son of man was used in the old testiment as an affectionate term meaning being very close to someone, . Son of god was also used in this way also, thus a closeness to god.

The distinction between what is real and what is not real is normally defined by what we can sense with out five physical senses. This being mainly with what we can prove scientifically with our eyes and ears and so on. Whats real is real for someone and not for another and does not make it real or not real…where am I going with this?
The fear of hell is real for most people but does that make it real?

Yeah, threads about religion, deep moral issues, or politics usually don’t digest well on the forums. The arguments for/against are usually the same, and ‘usually’ the people want an opportunity to post their own views rather than anything else :x
In the end, each poster quietly chuckles at the other posters for their differing views, and nothing intellectual is gained besides the usual negative opinion of someone who has a view completely opposite to that of our own =)
