Tell me 10 things I should do on Mac OS X

Heh, off-topic. But, I’m still not convinced myself to stop using my Ubuntu/Vista/XP solution…

@Theros, what I just did on a mac with uploading that image would have taken me 5 mins on a PC and only took 30 seconds on a mac. The workflow is just so much better simply because of how integrated everything is.
I said give TextMate a month before you realize how awesome it is, not OS X. :stuck_out_tongue:

OS X, I could care less if you love it or not.
I’ve just had to leave Textmate because they won’t install it on the company computers and I’m bloody lost. I didn’t realize how much I loved Textmate until I had to use Dreamweaver (what a clunky piece of **** :().

Email Alaan. It’s probably just a small bug he can fix.

Edit: Err, nevermind. I misread your post. Use emacs from the command-line.

Not to disprove your point. I agree with how the OSX overall is much better in terms of integration. But, how can uploading one image take 5 minutes? I power up my FTP program in maybe 5 seconds, upload in another 5… How did that take 5 minutes?

I think he meant to take the screenshot, crop the image, convert it to a decent format, upload, and then get the URI in the clipboard to paste in here.

@Jeff Wheeler
Exactly what I meant.

Also I just got my windows mobile smart phone syncing with my mac, and iCal is simply amazing. I plan to install iWork later on today to try it out.

Hey, even the windows users hate dreamweaver.

I can’t wait till Windows 7, as its like what leopard is for OSX, just a huge extention of what is already there (still have till 2010).

get naked and take pictures with your iSight.

ok…

You should also try GrabUp.

Uh, that’s why I have Cropper :stuck_out_tongue:

Just get a real mouse… one with changeable DPI on the mouse itself.

Roll back and forth across the dock really quickly until you are hypnotised.
